Spread the word

Each of us on our own can spark a lot public interest in human rights.
It's as easy as putting up an Amnesty poster in your school cafeteria or place of worship or library.
Or why not make Amnesty bookmarks available at the checkout counter of your favorite restaurant, bookstore or doctor's office?
If you are well-known in your community - through your involvement in the arts, media, social services, religious communities or politics - offer to publicly endorse a local Amnesty project.
Arrange to have an Amnesty public service announcement played on your favorite radio station. Ask your community TV station to broadcast "Cry For Justice." Donate an Amnesty video or Radio Amnesty program to your library.
Send an Amnesty e-postcard to a friend. Put an Amnesty banner on your website. Add an Amnesty or human rights message to your email signature.
Use personalized Amnesty address labels on every letter you mail. To order address labels, email members@amnesty.ca and include your name and exact mailing address as you want these to appear on the label.
