Goodbye Guantanamo!

During the past seven years, human rights have become a casualty of the “war on terror”. The US detention facility at Guantánamo Bay, Cuba – the final destination of the so-called “worst of the worst” – illustrates the high price that is paid when human rights are sacrificed in the name of security: torture and ill-treatment, indefinite detention without charge, unfair trials and discrimination.
