This is a great endeavour! I followed the Iranian election pretty closely and although it was difficult to make any definitive judgment about the alleged election fraud, it was clear that citizens were being denied their right to question the results.
I heard about the cycling campaign from a colleague at the University of Toronto and asked if I could participate on the first day to show my support for the cause. Whether the election results were fraudulent or not, intimidating and imprisoning peaceful protesters is wrong. As a Canadian, I'm proud to support those fighting for freedom of expression in Iran.

I think it's wonderful that Iranians across the world are using creative tacticsts to show solidarity with the people of Iran. Today we saw more mass demonstrations in the streets of Iran in commemoration of the july 1999 (18 Tir according to Iranian calendar) massacre of student protestors. I hope that Amnesty continues to defend human rights in Iran, particularly the rights of the over 2,000 protestors languishing in Iranain prisons.

This is a fantastic idea: a high-profile and peaceful way of bringing attention to this important issue.

I think it is very constructive action. Hoping a day of freedom and of peace.
I send hearty cheers to all protestors and riders.

Sending the cyclists good vibes on this day. It's raining but I know that this will only motivate them further.
