    Film screening -- Kelowna

On Saturday, February 28th at 7:30 p.m. in Room 14, First United Church hall, 721 Bernard Avenue, Kelowna's Amnesty International group will show the film "The Altruism Revolution".  This documentary challenges the idea that people are driven by ruthless self-interest.  Best-selling author and Buddhist monk Matthieu Ricard leads the movement founded on the belief that a society and an economy can be structured around altruistic behaviour instead of greed, tribalism and winning at all costs.  Admission to the film is by donation.  More information: 250-769-4740.
