Do we have your most up-to-date details?
Amnesty's life-saving human rights work is independent. We accept no government money. We are funded by people like you. Please donate today.
Charitable Registration # 11878 5914 RR0001 A tax receipt will be issued for all donations of $10 or more.
Every day, in every moment, in every corner of the world, injustice cries out for your intervention.
Welcome to Amnesty International Canada's Online Action Centre.
Here you'll find many opportunties to heed that call.
No one individual can respond to all the problems of the world, of course. To paraphrase a great humanitarian, if you can't help everybody, help just one. And whether the abuses stop immediately, or take a long time to end, the gift of your attention and intervention can make a profound and positive impact on the ability of individuals and communities to endure and prevail.
Use the search panel in the Action Centre to look for stories that resonate with you and write a letter to ask for human rights to be added to the narrative.
If you plan to make a habit of taking action (which we hope you do), then sign up in the Action Centre to be an Amnesty Canada e-activist. That way you'll be able to keep track of your human rights work, receive updates on the impacts you're making, be alerted when there's a crisis that might benefit from your attention, and get suggestions on other actions that might be of interest to you.
Welcome. And thank you for your interest.
Now let's get you started ....
To generate a list of actions that fits your interests, click one or more of the topics to the right.
When you're finished click on the SEARCH button at the bottom of this panel.
The panel will disappear and the search results will appear in the column on the right-hand side.
To deselect a topic, just click on it again.
