Request an Amnesty Fieldworker
Amnesty's Fieldworkers are volunteer Amnesty members who have received training that helps them facilitate activism. Fieldworkers act as resource people for Amnesty members - individuals, youth and student groups, community groups, and other local structures. They are connected to other parts of Amnesty and they are aware of and network with other human rights organizations. For example, they can refer you to speakers, or refer you to the right person if you're interested in women's rights.
They are also workshop leaders and public speakers. They can hold a workshop that introduces you to Amnesty and its mission, and they can also develop workshops on other topics such as Amnesty's current campaign. If you need a public speaker for your school or community event, a fieldworker is a good person to contact.
If you'd like to speak to a fieldworker in your area, please fill out the form below. If you are requesting a speaker for your class or have a specific question, please include that information in the comments box. We will do our best to meet your request but due to the limited resources of our volunteers, we cannot guarantee that all requests for speakers can be accommodated.
