Women as role models: Awarded the 2003 Nobel Peace Prize, Shirin Ebadi is an activist for women’s rights, as well as those of refugees and children. She is the founder and leader of the Association for Support of Children's Rights in Iran and has written a number of academic books and articles focused on human rights. |
