Gift Memberships
Give the gift of an Amnesty International membership
A gift of an Amnesty International membership is a gift with meaning. Not only will your gift support Amnesty International's important work, your friend or loved one will appreciate your thoughtfulness and benefit from the chance to learn more about human rights. The gift can be made by you alone or by a group of people such as a family or work colleagues.
When you give someone an Amnesty International membership, we will prepare a package for them that contains:
- a personalized card advising them of your gift
- some background information on our work and what it means to be a member of Amnesty
- a copy of the latest issue of The Activist, our bimonthly magazinefor Canadian members of Amnesty, as well as a subscription to the next six issues.
You choose whether we should send the package directly to them on your behalf,
or to you first so that you can sign the card and pass the package on yourself.
Either way, we'll be sure to contact you to let you know that your gift has
been taken care of.
At the end of the year, we will ask your friend or loved one, once and by mail, whether they would like to renew their membership and continue receiving The Activist. All member e-mail and mailing addresses are confidential to Amnesty.Amnesty's privacy policy
