Taste for Justice
- Tell your friends! Email your friends, family and contacts across Canada about how they can Dine Out from June 1-15 and Dine In throughout the year in support of Amnesty International's work to stop violence against women. You can direct them to http://www.amnesty.ca/tasteforjustice/ .
- Have a blog? Tell the world about Taste for Justice! You can even post the web banners below. Some other ways you can share your taste for justice with the world:
Join the Taste for Justice facebook group and post a note about Taste for Justice to your profile! (New to Facebook? You'll need to register first, but anyone can join.)
Submit a YouTube video about why you share Amnesty's "taste for justice"

Use flickr to upload and share photos? If so, then join our Amnesty Taste for Justice flickr group and share your photos with other Taste for Justice participants. - Volunteer! We need people to help spread the word about Taste for Justice, particularly to encourage Canadians to Dine Out for human rights. You can volunteer for 5 seconds or 5 weeks, on foot or online - up to you! If interested, please see the tools below and/or contact Jen Auten at tasteforjustice@amnesty.ca. 8 ways you can inspire others to Dine Out in support of a safer world for women.
From June 1-15 restaurants across Canada are participating in the Dine Out portion of Amnesty's fourth annual Taste for Justice. These small businesses are donating part of their proceeds to Amnesty and drawing attention to violence against women. To check out participating businesses, please click here.
Here’s how you can help. If interested, please contact Jen Auten at tasteforjustice@amnesty.ca or 1-800-266-3789.
1. Email the Taste for Justice Dine Out page to friends and family across Canada and encourage them to support the restaurants in their city.
2. Display Dine Out posters and flyers in local stores, cafés, workplaces, community centres, places of worship, on telephone polls and billboards – wherever you see opportunities! Please email tasteforjustice@amnesty.ca about receiving free materials, or print them from this page.

3. Tell local media. We'll provide media kits for volunteers interested in approaching local media about Taste for Justice!
4. Use your connections. Have contacts in ot her organizations? Post a message about Amnesty's Taste for Justice Dine Out campaign.
5. Go online! You can use your blog, or tools like Facebook, flickr, YouTube or others to share your "taste for justice" with the world. Click here for details.

6. Use free local events listings. Post a notice with local print and online media, directing readers to tasteforjustice.ca.
7. Take it to the streets during the campaign! Get together with members of your group or a few friends to form a "Taste for Justice Street Squad" and help direct people to nearby participating restaurants during the Dine Out campaign. If interested, please contact Jen Auten at tasteforjustice@amnesty.ca.
8. Plan a night out at a Taste for Justice restaurant or buy goodies from a TFJ bakery or café. Be sure to let them know you’ve chosen their business because they support Amnesty!
