Okay, so "Youth
E-newsletter" is not the most creative, catchy name. If you've got
a better idea we'd like to hear it. Send your ideas to youth@amnesty.ca and if we pick your submission as the new name of our youth e-news-letter,
we'll send you an Amnesty T-shirt.

INTERNATIONAL
YOUTH & STUDENT ACTION DAY
|
Join
Amnesty International youth and student members from around the globe
as we take action from February 16 to 22, 2004.
The idea
behind the International Week of Student Action (IWSA) is to mobilize
youth members in Amnesty International world-wide into action around one
issue, for one week.
This year's action
will focus on child executions. There are two actions focusing
on the USA and Pakistan. The action will call on the two countries to
end the use of the death penalty against child offenders. Take action
now at www.amnesty.ca/child/actions.htm
With half a million
young human rights activists working on the same action all over the world
- we can most definitely make our voices heard. Join us in this week of
action to end child executions!
