STEP ONE: Decide what you want to say Take a moment to prepare a short, personal statement that you would like to add to the 10,000 Voices phone-in. Message focus: We suggest a message that completes this thought: “I am speaking out to stop violence against women because …” Alternatively, you can describe what you (and your friends) are doing to recognize International Women’s Day. You choose what you want to say in your own words. Message length: We recommend 50-80 words – a message you can say in about 30-40 seconds. Short messages are effective and memorable. We also recommend that you write down your message and read it to yourself a few times before you request your phone call When you have your message ready, proceed to the next step. >> CLICK HERE <<
