Volunteers wanted for Amnesty International’s Iran Action Circle
All experience levels are welcome
Location: Toronto, Ontario
Commitment: Ideally 1+ year, meetings are held once per month in the Toronto office
The Iran Action Circle is a volunteer run group campaigning and raising awareness about human rights in Iran under the guidelines of Amnesty International. Activities can range from collecting signatures for petitions (street actions), annual events like our Nowruz celebration, or participating in broader national and international Amnesty activities with a focus on Iran. All members are encouraged to participate in all or any events throughout the year.
Meetings are held on the 2nd Thursday of each month in the Toronto office (1992 Yonge Street). Attending a New Members Orientation is recommended, but not mandatory.
If involvement with the group is a concern for you, please note that Amnesty International can keep participation anonymous as it pertains to media and internet coverage.
