Youth Internship 2018-2019
Youth Internship 2018-2019
Location: Ottawa, Ontario
Amnesty International Canada is offering two youth internships for 2018-2019. One will run from September 10 to December 14, 2018. The second will run from January 7 to April 19, 2019. Interns will be provided with an orientation to Amnesty's work, a work plan for their time with Amnesty and a staff mentor. The work of the intern will be directly related to the current activities of AI Canada.
The specific work plans will be developed with the individuals who are accepted into the program taking into account the skills, learning goals and experience of the applicant, and the needs of the organization. It is likely that the work of the intern will involve both administrative tasks and the opportunity to carry to completion specific projects which might involve research or writing. Potential projects might include support to our campaigning work, writing and developing content for the website, membership development or supporting event planning and public awareness activities.
