Protect the Protest – solidarity action in Toronto

Join the new Amnesty GTA Palestine Action Team from 7 pm to 9 pm at Kings College Circle (aka The People’s Circle for Palestine) at the University of Toronto.

We will be standing in solidarity with the students’ encampment to support their right to peaceful protest, and to raise awareness about the brutal occupation of Palestine and the system of apartheid that Palestinians are subjected to daily.

We will be holding up Amnesty posters drawn from Amnesty’s extensive research and public statements to emphasize the urgent need for the Government of Canada and Canadians to act to recognize and protect the rights of Palestinians in this grave time.

This action is open to the public. All Amnesty members are warmly invited to join and encouraged to invite all members of their community who might be interested in supporting this action. If you are interested in joining the new Amnesty GTA Palestine Action Team, please email us at
